Can men get yeast infections?!
Question: I had sex with this girl, and she had a certain oder about it, you know. It's been a few months and I swear I have been abstinent because when I go to the bathroom, I have this same oder, so I've been really self conscious, and it's driving me crazy. I know I don't have any STD because it doesn't sting or hurt. Could I have gotten a yeast infection from her? If yes how do I treat it? Do I need to see a doctor, or a pharmacist?

Yup. You can go ask a pharmacist. There are over the counter products that should work for that.
Of course you can get a yeast infection from her. Go to the pharmacy and get some anti-fungal cream, and put it all over your area for a week.
yes u can, my friend's bf got it from her so i know it is possible...he went to the doctor and got a cream for it. you just need to get a cream from the pharmacist, it is treatable so no worries. breath lol
When a woman has sex while she has a yeast infection she needs to tell her partner so he can use the same medication she uses for it to get rid of his infection or you will only pass it back and forth. So I would say you have a yeast infection and you need to go to the Doctor. You can buy Monistat at Wal Mart and use it but I am not a Doctor.
If it were a yeast infection... believe that you'd be itchin' like crazy... male or female. Before you go treating yourself for it see a doctor to know for sure what you've got... tell HIM what you think it might be..
Our bodies are balanced with certain bacterias and fungi... an anti-whatever could cause something else to grow worse! For instance... once I was treated for a bacterial infection when I really had a yeast infection... the normal bacteria that would have helped fight off the yeast overgrowth was killed by the antibiotic and let the growth of the yeast quadruple in speed..... result.... worst yeast infection my doctor had ever seen...... and more pills and creams for me and for even longer than usual.
Just because your not having any stinging or burning doesnt mean you dont have an std. You really need to see a doc.!Also yeast infections dont just cause odor they some times can burn also. When a man has a yeast infection they get a thick white nasty paste around their thing. Usually men who have not been sucumsized. Sounds to me like youv got clamidea ( The Clap) or possibly Gonorea. Most guys wont have symptoms. Most men dont have symptoms for awhile after and some women ither. So she may not know. If you dont go to the doctor you may not have symptoms till a year from now. If i were you id find out so you can let her know as well. Good luck
Men can get yeast infections, but not sexually. Yeast infections are normally gotten through the environment. Men's yeast infections cannot be treated over the counter.
There are other similar sort of diseases which can be transmitted sexually.
