What sort of life-style I should adopt after pneumonia?!

Question: Just suffered from pneumonia (Legionella pneumophila). I still feel very tired, short of breath, loss of concentration, weak.
I was in doors for just over 2 weeks and tried to fully recover .
Now that I feel better, I want to continue life as it was before pneumonia.

I want to exercise, be out and about, go back to work, etc.

I am not sure what I should do, what I should avoid or what I should be aware of (regarding exercise, diet, life-style).

e.g. Am I allowed to jog, sauna, jacuzzi, ice cream, out and about?

I do not smoke or drink and I am in my early 30's.

I have had pneumonia twice. I don't have a clue how I got it. As far as I know you can lead a normal life after having it. I don't smoke or drink and I do all of the above, jogging sauna, exersise. As I said before, I don,t know how I got it, but I am not going to sit around and worry about it. I love life, and I am 70 years old. Have at it is what I say.

I had it a few years ago, I felt weak and tired for about 3 months and just rested as much as I could.
Hope you get well soon.

I've just had aspirational pneumonia.. and it's the second time.

I've just got round to getting out of bed but still feel lethargic.

Don't push yourself too soon, to feeling 100%, it does take a lot out of you, and you still need rest, and plenty of liquids and fresh fruit and diets to boost your immune system.

Don't go jogging or in the sauna etc, just yet, getting cold, then hot and back to cold, isn't going to help regulate your body temperature, which has taken quite a beating.

Take the time to recover properly, your health is so important, and your lungs will now be weak and vulnerable to any infection, especially common colds. So you must allow your body to heal and mend itself.

Hope you feel good soon !
