Is it true that you can get pills for getting rid of spots and clear skin?!

Question: I asked my doctor and he said no he cannot prescribe me any, I don't have hardly any spots ever, but if I eat cheese then the next day I always have them, should I give up cheese for life?

Firstly, don't go the drugs route! They do much more harm than good, and you can easily clear up acne in other ways.

You need to lay off the dairy products for a while. They will make you produce more oil on your skin (sebum) and this will in turn aggrivate the acne.

I would suggest you try the Clinique 3-step system. It's a face wash - great for clearing up the oil. It's also a cleanser, which will help close the pours and clean up dirt, and finally a moisturiser, to keep your skin supple.

Use this for 2-3 months and you will definitely see a great improvement! Best solution - I should know, used to have really bad acne. :) Good luck!

no

yes, but the ingredients contained within these pills will most definitely give you bollock boils.

If you have severe acne the doc can give you antibiotics, but that's only appropriate for severe cases.

You should be ok if you give up cheese till you're 20.

no cheese is essential for growth. actually you shouldn't forgive cheese for life but you should eat them at LEAST once a year heheh..like me

like, I never eat cheese AHAHA I haven't eaten a single cheese in about 7 years.. but instead of cheese, you can still eat or drink OTHER dairy products so it's actually okay to give up cheese for life. However, if there are some cheese in ingredients of some type of cakes, and other foods then eat it. but still rememeber to eat milk, yogurt and other dairy products =)

There are certain antibiotics you can be given if you have acne. You might have an allergic rash. You can either try taking antihistamine or avoid cheese.

he wont give you them as you obviously dont have bad skin..

There is such thing..my friend had them and they worked really well..

buts its pills for your allergy you need.

Well, yes you can can pills to get rid of spots. However, it has to be a really bad case of acne and then only when everything else has been tried by your GP. The medication is called 'Ruactane' and is only prescribed by a consultant at a hospital. It can have rather nasty side effects.

Dairy products are known to be bad for spots

Why not try and change the kind of cheese you eat. Switching to a non-dairy alternative might help. :-)
