Have you ever been to a dermatologist for acne?!
Question: If so, do you know if they take blue cross and blue shield?
I am still in the process of trying to find one in my area....
And if they don't take that insurance, how much will a visit cost?
What did they prescibe you?
Did it work?
Did your acne get worse before it got better?
I am 22 yrs old and tired of living with this!!
And please I don't need answers like "wash your face more"
Or "use proactiv"
I have used that and it didn't work..
In fact I have probably tried just about every OTC medicine I could find....

Yes, I tried everything first! Proactive, clearasil, clean and clear, biore, shiseido, oil of olay, oxy, neutrogena, sea breeze, need I go on? I finally went to a dermatologist and got on accutane, it literally closes your pores from the inside out! You have to do bloodwork once a month and get on birth control and take a pregnancy test once a month but it is worth it! After a few weeks my face is no longer oily and NO breakouts, WOW! It's amazing, only thing that works. I have insurance but if I didn't I think it costs $125 for the visit and like $66 for a months worth but you have to stay on it for 5 months, it's a very strict regimen but it is WORTH it seriously!
yes I have been and I do have BCBS. they gave me a face wash antibotics to take orally and a lotion to use on my face.can recall names sorry

I had the same condetion and nothing would work, your best friend is age and goes away as you age...i went to doctore an it cost me alot of money but it didn't realy work...i was the same age and after few years like 1 or 2 years it stop as if it never happend yeah proactive didn't work or anything else, but you might want a liver function teast, simple blood teast so make sure everythings good, i remember drinking watter helped me alot, vitamin E ( if you eat it) helps...but acne it's something that some people have problem with i did and alot of others..if you tuch them they get wors and realy long lasting
