CALLING ALL SMART MEDICAL PPL/doctors!!!!!!!?!

Question: ok, so here the deal;
i went to the eye doctor to see if i need glasses and he told
me i had "funny" optic nerves, or something in my eye. but
thats not the point . he said that because i have constant pressure in my eyes, beccuase i go on the computer alot he said i MAY but its rare that i might have a sumo brain tumor, i would only need to take pills to get it better whenever i hurt myself badly, like walk into a pole or something, instead of seeing stars, i kind of see black. and my mom is worried this might have to do with the whole "brain tumor thing" alothough we have been told by more than one person that iprobably don't have it . if you know about tbis stuff, can u help me??
THANKS!

It's pseudotumor cerebri and is also called idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Idiopathic means no known cause. It's not really a tumor, it's a condition of increased cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that mimics the effects of a brain tumor. It's diagnosed with an MRI or CT and with an LP, a lumbar puncture to measure spinal fluid pressure. Medication (diuretics) can help and sometime surgical repair is needed. The point is to avoid this eventuality. Diuretics will make the body throw off excess fluid and if this isn't suffcient, a spinal shunt can be placed to reroute CSF to the abdomen.

I suggest you see your own doctor about this and repeat what your optometrist said. And please use more punctuation in your sentences in the future. Thanks.
