Here you go darl, check out this website. Lots of things it could be from, most common being worms.

Could be worms. That causes an itchy backend.

could be worms yeah
but probably piles

I suggest you use some soap and water everyday there.

Time to take some worm medication.

Try using a different washing detergent or make sure you rinse them well as the detergent can be harsh and irritating.

Sounds like piles - I have them too - yuckidy yuck yuck... and very annoying. You'll have to go to the chemist and be brave and ask for haemorroid cream (or else order it online if you're embarrassed). Other than than it could be worms. Try the piles treatment first and if that doesn't work try getting something for worms. I know what you're going through though and it's not nice!

Does it itch inside, outside or both? If inside is probably piles. If on outside only or both is more likely worms. Worms lay in your intestine and at night come out of your anus and lay their eggs causing intense itching around your bum hole. Wash and dry area carefully ensuring no one else uses flannel or towel afterwards. If worms hot wash these and your underwear and any bedding, also ensure all door handles, telephone anything else that gets handled gets washed down to prevent re-infestion or spreading as when we itch the eggs get in fingernails and are usually reingested when we put our fingers in our mouths and the whole cycle starts again!
Take a trip to the pharmacy for some medication either way and if you don't like taking medication I have found through experience that tea tree oil put around bum and just inside also gets rid of worms. (though it does sting for a little while).

Sorry to be gross but hopefully I have answered your question.

Of course, -yes, it could be worms, but if it isn't then it's almost certainly due to a condition the where your skin in the anal area has an extremely itchy chronic rash

The doctors' 'posh name' for it is "Pruritus anus" which you can Google. It's caused by the residue and secretions left after defecation, -to which you've become sensitive.

The cure is relatively simple. Bathe your bottom in good very hot water, (contrary to what you'll be advised!) - You can even take hot tubs to accomplish this. Use lots of soap to wash the anus as clean as possible, then dry it thoroughly.

Now use a tissue soaked with surgical spirit (that's almost pure alcohol) to bath the itchy, sore area. IT WILL STING! -..... It SHOULD sting, and that is mildly cauterizing the area. It will stop stinging within a couple of minutes, and now, dry it thoroughly and gently with a towel.

Apply talcum powder (preferably an anti-fungal one, -such as those used for athlete's foot) quite liberally and you should have virtually complete relief until next you have to defecate. When you do, then repeat the process above, washing and powdering it each time.

It may take many years before you're completely clear of it, but you can control it by the treatment described, and live virtually a normal life again.
