Eatin a sausage a day aparently .. most things contribute towards it now days or so they say. So stay away from smoking and steroids and live your life.

Why?

I guess smoking is the main cause, but you can 'just' develop it in any organ.

Caner has no understanding my friend, it can just appear when you least expect it :-(

Promiscuity. Its the leading cause of cervical cancer.

There really is no answer to that question. There are many, many ways to try and prevent cancer, but anyone can come down with cancer and there doesn't have to be a reason, just try and stay healthy and take care of yourself.

Cancer is due to a cell mutation avoiding immune surveillance. An infinite number of carcinogens increase the risk of this, many of them unknown.

Radon gas can cause lung cancer in non-smokers. It's gas from the earth that is very dangerous to humans and other living creatures. It's not seeable, it's odorless and you can't taste it. High levels of this can be very dangerous to your health and causes more issues. Make sure you get your house checked for Radon on a yearly bases atleast.

Smoking has been linked to lung cancer and excessive sun exposure to skin cancers. Up to 10% of cancer cases are due to hereditary factors. Other than that we're still pretty much in the dark as to what causes cancer.

Too vast to answer. How about we just keep going with the research hey.....

we are all born with cancer but something makes it grow.

This probably isn't the answer you want, but there are too many causes of cancer to name. Big ones are smoking, spending too much time in the sun without protection, being exposed to radiation/toxic chemicals. But some aren't so obvious. Some people are predisposed to certain cancers because of the way their bodies express certain genes. Hormonal therapies have been shown to stimulate the growth of cancer cells. Obesity has been linked to different cancers. Human papilloma virus (an STD) can cause cervical cancer.

If you want to be healthy, you should definitely avoid smoking and use SPF when you're in the sun (to protect against lung and skin cancers, two very common types). Eating a nutritious diet and getting the right amount of exercise is also essential. But you shouldn't waste your life trying to protect against all causes of cancer - it's simply impossible.
