Can you get genital warts from oral sex?!

Question: I am in a monogamous relationship with another woman (neither one of us has had intercourse with a man). However I have experienced oral sex before. A few months ago I noticed some skin colored, slightly raised (painless) bumps on my labia majora. I thought they were ingrown hairs or irritation or something, but they aren't going away - and now there are more than before. Could it be genital warts? I think I should make an appointment with a dr, but I wanted to know if anyone could help me out... I am a 22 year old female.

you better get to the doctor! hpv causes some genital warts. and it is a skin to skin contact. so if you did oral then touched your mouth and touched her area. you both are at risk. but im not a doc, so get to one! good luck to you.

yes

it might be warts - however, she giving you oral wont give you warts. HPV can lie dormant in your system for years. Also men are less prone to show symptoms.

If you guys are having sex - then there is a good chance she will or has contracted low risk (warts) HPV.

Tell her before you do anything else and go get check out.

Also - if it is warts, then she can contract it in her throat, its rare - but can happen.

LOL! Missed that you guys are both girls - that changes things a little but not really. Skin on skin contact is all it takes. Still - not via oral expect a very rare chance.

Good Luck!
