Possible brain tumor, but no insurance?!

Question: What can i do if i think i have a brain tumor, but i dont have any insurance. I know i have all the signs and iv been checked for diebites (nothing), bp nothing. Everything Except went to get the Ecg or whatever they called it. But now iv waited to long and i dont have insurance. My memory and headachs are just getting worse and im really afraid im gonna black out while driving or while im standing in the school to pick my kid up. Iv blacked out at friends houses and in the post office and have a scar on my head and its imbarresing when theres people around. Im 25 single parent of 2, so im broke. What can i do? Is there anyone (doctor or clinics) in missouri, that do stuff for little of nothing for people like me?

A county hospital in Missouri has to take you regardless of what your payment abilities are. They are obligated by law to treat you first and arrange payment later. Don't use lack of insurance as an excuse to avoid treatment. It is scary but do it for your kids. Good luck and God bless.

find a way somehow to see a doctor, dont mess around with brain tumors.

The county hospital has got to see you. They do have programs that you can apply for at the hospital. Usually you go to the emergency room. Better have a babysitter lined up and expect at least a 5 hr wait. They will see you and let them know you have no insurance. They will set you up with appointments and you will have to come in later to fill out paperwork for the assistance programs. Some communities have other programs, every state is different. but the county hospital has got to see you reguardless of your ability to pay. It is just real inconvienient until you get all the paperwork done and accepted into a program. You might want to check with the county health dept first they may be able to hook you up with the right programs. Good luck.

Find a good hospital. Have a CT-Scan done. Find a good neurosurgeon if it is a tumor. Do not play around with second best. It is your health, not a pet. No insurance just means bigger bills until a way to pay for them. What is your life worth to you and your kids?
There are clinical trials available also. There are cancer clinics in Chicago and St Louis hospitals that conduct them. They are totaly free, depending upon type of tumor.
