H?;
I must ask first is it mobile and how big is it? I'm asking because if it is mobile and it is not bigger than a walnut probably it is something called lipoma. Lipoma is a kind of lipid tumor and extremely harmless to body. But it doesn't recover itself. You have to get it removed. There are lots of possibilities. So see a doctor about it. Because it could be something serious too like a superficial lenfadenomegalia or cancer. But don't be alarmed so soon. It is. probably a lipoma.
Hope get well soon;

you should be examined by a doctor!

You should go to the docs and have it look at it. It could be a cyst. They get very hard and it will get bigger as it fills up. Disgusting, i know, but my dad had one on his back and it was nasty. Have it checked..please.

I had something that sounds like this, and I went to see the doctor about it. He told me it was just a sebaceous cyst and I should just leave it alone. I returned about a year later because it was bothering me, and I wanted it removed. I had it removed and sent off to pathology, and it turned out it was a dermatofibroma. It was on my left hip and just appeared out of nowhere. It could be one of those I suppose. 95% of them are perfectly harmless and benign, but I was unluckly enough to be in the 5% that were potentially dangerous so I had to get it re-excised. Ouch. GET IT CHECKED OUT! I wish I hadn't waited so long.

It's either a sebaceous cyst - ingrown hair caught up in a ball of cheesy sebum or

A boil - big infected pimple type thing

Get it lanced by your doctor. You may then need antibiotics.

Sebaceous cysts are common along the underpant line particularly in females who have the area waxed .

The general population can get a boil anywhere on their skin - head , arm, leg, bottom. A pore gets infected with staph aureus, a bacteria that normally lives on the skin not in it.
