Is there a name for fear of the feeling of flour on your hands?!

Question: I've had it all my life - not in a terrible debilitating way, just a real revulsion for the sensation - I had to get my boyfriend to knead the pizza dough last night because I was feeling mildly sick at the thought of touching the flour-coated dough, having crumbly bits caught on my skin etc. I know there's a name for fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth, so there must be a name for this one!

Is this you? http://www.yelp.com/topic/san-francisco-...
If not, you're not alone: http://www.uncommonforum.com/viewtopic.p...

yes it's called wierdo allergy.

I don't know the name of your phobia, but I know someone with the same revulsion and she gets round it by wearing (clean) rubber gloves when she needs to knead. Don't worry, it doesn't make the food taste funny.

You simply have a phobia, a girl in my high school class could not touch velvet. Wear light plastic gloves.
