Dehydrated and trying to drink a lot of water.?!

Question: A month and a half ago, my doc said that I didn;t drink enough water and that my body was dehydrated. So almost daily, I have been drinking 3 large bottles of water everyday. The first week of me drinking all this water almost made me puke because I HATE drinking water when I am not thirsty. Also, it seemed like I was peeing every 15 minutes. Now, I still drink the same amount of water but I don't have to pee as much anymore. Why does this happen?

Your body adapts to the water. Also, your sodium intake mite have increase so you're retaining the water.

Because you've got used to it

thats alot of wate i dont think he ment that much, and ya some people go to the bathroom a lot you should let your doc know though it could be a symptom of something else

Your body is finally getting used to having enough water in it.
