Yes you can!!!!! it has no carbs so it wont affect you.
Add some ham toooo its tasty

Yes , Indeedie you can. They have low Glycimic Index level . Also a small glass of milk. Chocolate is OK too. Go for it girl.

Eggs and cheese are nearly carb free. They're also loaded with protein. You can eat free foods between snacks and meals, but like anything, moderation is best and high cholesterol is not a good tradeoff to stable blood sugars. Proteins are most effective when accompanying carbs before exercise or bed; for example, Gina always has a milk with her bedtime snack.

I eat the eggs and cheese as snacks most days. I never have milk unless I am going hypo it gives me such a high spike!!

Eggs and cheese don't have more than maybe 1 g of carb! Unless you have a piece of toast with it, it is useless to inject as you would probably go hypo!!

Cholesterol in foods doesn't matter too much as the body makes 90% of the cholesterol in the bod anyway.

Rule 1 is to always check glucose numbers before eating anything. Calculate your g of carb in the foods you are planning to eat and inject accordingly.

I made fudge yesterday and licked the spoon I used to beat it with!!! Spiked to 250 rapidly!!! Irk!! That limited my other foods for the day to extremely low carb grams!!! Eggs with cheese and sausage for 3 meals!!

Yes, eggs and cheese are extremely low-carb in moderate amounts. You could eat them at any time of day. Since both are high in cholesterol and fat, make sure to keep an eye on your blood work that you get every few months to make sure your lipid levels are in good shape. You might want to only use 1 yolk and discard the others, that will give it some flavor but keep the bad stuff out. And use low fat cheeses whenever possible. Turkey bacon is another good food, and tuna!

My little sister is a Juvenille diabetic, and you are supposed to check your blood sugar before you eat, and then you normally have to get an insulin shot (depending on what it is)! My little sister has to get an insulin shot 4 times a day! So, just do what I said!

You should be able to have eggs and cheese without worrying about insulin, however, its a good idea to get a carton of egg whites and a carton of eggs. Then instead of having eggs which are high in fat, have just one egg, and add enough egg whites to double the portion.

For cheese, choose a low fat cheese so it won't add a lot of cholesteral to your meal.

If you really want to eat this way to avoid insulin, try testing first thing in the morning then eat your eggs and cheese, and test again at 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours. Then see how your blood sugar is doing. That way you know how the food really affects YOUR blood sugar.

See the link on this blog called Jennifer's page. It gives good info on testing to improve your blood sugar.

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 38 years. You should check your blood sugar levels before you make your decision to inject or not. The egg yolk and the cheese both contain some carbs. One way to be sure, is to check your sugar level, eat your breakfast, then check again in about an hour. If you are too high, you have your answer.

I don't know what chocolate Tin S. is referring to, but last time I looked, chocolate it loaded with carbs. and calories.
