Are there any medical conditions that would cause someone to be born....?!

Question: "normal" with all 10 digits on their hands, but crooked small fingers?

Do you know of anyone with this condition?
Could it be genetic?

I would assume it's genetic, I don't know if there's a specific name for it. I have crooked small fingers (VERY crooked) and I also have hitchhiker's thumbs on each hand.

OK I searched for quite a while and while crooked fingers are quite common, small crooked fingers are harder to find. So far the only thing I could find was Robinow syndrome which comes with a host of other ailments.

Brachydactyly just means short fingers, not short and crooked. Camptodactyly is the term for crooked fingers but it doesn't imply anything about their length. Both are genetic and either show up on their own or as part of some other genetic disorder.

Brachydactyly - is a medical term which literally means "shortness of the fingers and toes" (digits). The shortness is relative to the length of other long bones and other parts of the body. Brachydactyly is an inherited, usually dominant trait. It most often occurs as an isolated dysmelia, but can also occur with other anomalies as part of many congenital syndromes.
