First of all homossexualism is not a disease. Second of all, why would you even ask a question like that? People are not born with suddenly being gay, straight or bi. The surroundings affect how a person's sexual orientation is. I have a friend who is a homosexual and it doesn't bother me at all. He just sort of faded into it because he's attracted to guys. It's not that he finds girls "icky," it's just that he's attracted to his same gender.
Homossexualism is not a word.
And I would love to know what research you have to show it is a disease.

There is no disease involved in being homosexual. It is just a matter of preference.
A Homosexual lifestyle is not always a choice, it is not a disease, real actual studies have shown that in many cases it is an added gene or missing gene, not a defect, not a disease. What is a real disease among the human race is the ability of the same species to commit compulsive racial slander against each other because of an outdated ideology. Funny thing is that this lifestyle has existed longer and in more species than the ideology that it is wrong, or a disease.
