Does anyone know how I can get my voice back to normal?!
Question: When I started working at a night club, I lost my voice. When my voice came back, it didn't recover completely. My voice squeaks sometimes and I can't scream anymore. It's been like this for two years now. I don't work in a smoking environment anymore and it still hasn't came back. Is there some kind of home remedy I could do to repair my vocal cords? Or maybe even a specialist I could see?

First off I would try going one whole week either whitout talking, or keeping the voice down. During that period of time drink LOTS of hot liquids. If by the end of the week your voice hasn't changed I suggest seeing a specialist. You could have paralyzed a vocal chord, or permenatly damged a chord. Good Luck!
