Why do scars never go away?!

Question: you need to rub them with bio oil... but I think it's because the part that regenerates has altered shape and the blood flow's changed... scar tissue is kind of poor quality regrowth as it's so quick

Cosigning on the Bio Oil,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it's GREAT 4 scars!!! :-)

They may not completely disappear, but they will fade! Try using silicone scar strips, such as the neosporin sort. they really flatten and reduce the appearance of scars, given time to work.

Scars are the bodys 'patch up' job. When it is damaged you body has to build a mesh-like structure to lay skins cells on, if this structure is damaged then the formation of the cells will be messy, giving a scar. The bigger the area to fix, the bigger the scar. Some are so small they won't scar.

You can reduce scarring by not picking any scabs you have! Bio oil is excellent, as is Blue Chamomile (make a decoction from organic german chamomile, 1 tbsp steep in 200ml boiled water for 10 minutes with a saucer on top of the cup/jug and then add to your bath), also Lavender essential oil is good (make sure you dilute it to a maximum 15% concentration in a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil)

if you treat them correctly you can hide them quite nicely... need help hiding a scar honey?....

I think scars are a reminder that we got hurt and we dam sure better not do what we did to get hurt again. That's why they never go away. We can put all the oil and vitamins and makeup and blablabla on them, but they will never go away. Apparently, the more scars we have, the harder it is to teach us. Funny how physical and emotional scars are the same. Well, not really funny ha ha, just, well, you know what I mean.
