Oral herpes or acne?!

Question: I've never broken out from acne around my mouth as bad as this. But recently I have been getting breaks outs like these every two weeks or so and I never break out unless it's the week before my period and when I do it's usually around my cheeks or forehead.. I'm really concerned to know if this could be oral herpes or just bad acne :/
I've always had very low self esteem so getting this break out just makes me feel a whole lot worse I almost walked out of class Monday, Tuesday and probably today because I feel so anxious worrying that everyone is just staring at my face!
Any comments at all will help, thanks.

hi, looks like acne on the one side, and the one in the corner of your mouth looks more like Angular Chelitis to me, with the photos provided. go here for more info:

It looks like you are getting some scar development from the acne infection, I would like to suggest that you talk to your regular doctor about getting on some antibiotics to see if it can be cleared up once and for all. This is not a bad case, but because of the repeat infections, it might be a good idea to have them take a look at it. You might even be able to get rid of it using a specific antibiotic cream since it is such a mild case.
Hsv (both 1 and 2) can be transferred easily by kissing of any kind as well as using eating utensils or drinking after someone with an active lesion. It does not require sexual contact to become infected. Please learn the facts by going to herpes.com. Then get yourself to a doctor to get that recurrent infection cleared up! Good luck.

ewwwwww

it looks like really bad acne so don't worry..

Well, I don't think you have oral Herpes but it wouldn't hurt to go to a dermatologist.

I was expecting a horror of a picture before I clicked on the links!
It's really not so bad.
I had acne so severe that I had to take Acutane. I don't have any pictures to show you but believe me, my pimples had pimples. They were huge, looked more like boils most of the time. Eventually they got better.
You need to get used to interacting with people in public while your having a breakout. I know it's hard, but if I could do it, I know you can too.
Best wishes, hope you clear up soon.

you look hot...look kinda like those sexy freaks who love rock and like to get funky!!

oh sorry back on topic, hmmm well it looks like acne babe. oh and if you are doing oral..be careful sexy lips.

This is probably not herpes, because facial herpes is usually confined to one side of the face. It also normally forms blisters, and appears repeatedly in exactly the same spot. And oral herpes doesn't usually come back nearly as often as your rash, it tends to disappear completely for at least a month, and becomes less frequent as time goes on.

But, this doesn't look like acne either. It's probably another type of skin rash. You should really see a doctor about it.

Oral herpes is not normally caught by "doing oral" to people, incidentally. It's spread by contact with other people's mouths, not their genitals. Genital and oral herpes are caused by different viruses, HSV types 2 and 1 respectively. You can sometimes get genital herpes on the mouth, but this is pretty rare because that virus doesn't do very well except on the genitals. About 80% of people carry the oral herpes virus, and most of them catch it as children. Definitely not from oral sex!

Some tips, get rid of the nose ring for now, it may be bringing the infection to this area.
Wash several times with warm soapy water. don't use any make up for awhile, this includes lip stick.

Either get a good acne treatment from the pharmacist or see your doctor. He may give you an anti- biotic to start with to clear you up.
Herpes are more like large boils that hurt. You can get Herpes from oral sex, from just contact if your partner is infected. Practice safe sex but, it's probably to late if he has Herpes and you still had sex.

Those of you that don't believe you can get Herpes from oral sex, go to WebMd.com and look it up, get the facts.

ICD-10 B00.1

Infection by HSV-1 is the most common cause of herpes that affects the face and mouth (orofacial herpes) although recent years are seeing an increase in oral HSV-2 infections.[2] A majority of primary HSV-1 infections occur during childhood and, if the virus has come into contact with the mucosa or abraded skin, can cause acute herpetic gingivostomatitis (inflammation of the mucosa of the cheek and gums) within 5
