Autoimmune disease?!

Question: it seems i have autoimmune hepatitis (its not sure yet)
is it any other way to treat it beside steroids?
i dont want steroids because i have very VERY acneic skin, i went on acne treatment for years and i dont want to go trough that hell again (its a terrible condition, psychologially devastating)

Yes, there are MANY treatments other than steroids. However steroids is often an initial treatment to get the inflammation down quickly or to use when bad times occur.
