Why does having hep c make your body itch so much?!

Question: This is caused by a back up o bilirubin in the blood. The liver breaks down waste products in ur blood. when it is inflamed it does not do a great job of getting rid of these waste products, such as bilirubin, which builds up in the blood and tissues. The bilirubin causes the skin to turn yellow(jaundice) causing itching, fever, nausea, and body aches.

It doesn't unless your liver is significantly involved and you're jaundiced.

It may or may bot be the Hep C.

It may be a drug or combination of drugs you are
taking that produces this unwanted sensation.

Tell your Dr. what you are experiencing and allow
him/her to go from there.

Good luck.
