I have sores all over the inside of my mouth....what could it be?!

Question: Are they just canker sores? When i eat food like crackers, i can feel it rubbing against parts of my mouth and it starts to hurt. It feels like i have a sore in the very back of my mouth, two on my tongue - one on the tip and a sore spot on the back.....tingly on the roof of my mouth. What could it be? They're all on the inside and i haven't been sick lately or anything....

This happens when you don't get enough sleep, or you are stressed, or you eat a lot of junk food.

I use to get them all the time, especially on vacation, since my diet would change.

There are many different medications you can use, but the best solution is to ask your doctor to give you a prescription for Fucidin Ointment, since this is an antibiotic cream to cure your sores.

If you use this, and continue to rinse your mouth with scope, you will most likely get rid of them.

Hope this helps!

rinse your mouth with hydrogen Peroxide and then rinse with warm water to get rid of the taste

If this condition doesn't clear soon, see your doctor or your dentist. They could be canker sores, but something else could be going on as well..

This answer is very personal. If you aren't sexually active don't bother to read it.
If you have had oral sex and If the sores look like tiny blisters you may have Herpes. You will have to go to the doctor to be treated for this. Good luck.

It sounds like you may have several different things happening in your mouth at the same time to me. Irritating your taste buds by biting, scraping or rubbing them accidentally can injure them and cause them react by swelling up and looking extra reddish or whitish. That could be what's up with your tongue. If you feel like you have sores in the back of your mouth then you should take a hand mirror and possibly a small flashlight and take a look. If you see a flat sore with an open whitish top then you've got canker sores which are a form for ulcer that is basically not completely understood in the medical community. Nobody really knows what causes them but some ideas have been presented. For instance, it might be a food allergy that presents in a funny way in certain people. I have them too. The tingly on the roof of your mouth seems a little vague and hard to pinpoint or understand to me. I'd lay off the acidic foods for a while (tomatoes, citrus ect.) and try to avoid hard food with sharp edges (like crackers) and give your mouth a chance to heal up.
