I had the same thing. You should go to a doctor and get it checked out they will refer you to a cardiologist. The doctors never caught mine on an EKG. I had to wear a Holter monitor for a week since mine did not occur very often. I had a tachycardia. They normally are harmless, try to stay away from caffeine and try to monitor your heart rate during exercise. You should find out which type of tachycardia you have because they will give you more information on it and let you know what the options for treating it. I had the options of leaving it be, taking medicine, or a minor surgery that corrects it.

It sounds like arrhythmia. You should talk to a doctor, and maybe a cardiologist if it gets bad. Sometimes it's pretty harmless, but you do need to get it checked out to know. They'll probably want to try and catch it on an EKG before they can do anything, and that will be the most frustrating thing for you.

You'll notice shortness of breath, feeling faint and dizzy. Sometimes you can black out and that's very serious.

Sometimes they can cause problems, some very serious. Sometimes it just comes and goes.

Funny, how many yahoo accounts do you have? A1 i would see a dr.

Arrhythmias are abnormal rhythms of the heart. Arrhythmias cause the heart to pump blood less effectively. Most cardiac arrhythmias are temporary and benign. Most temporary and benign arrhythmias are those where your heart skips a beat or has an extra beat. The occasional skip or extra beat is often caused by strong emotions or exercise. Nonetheless, some arrhythmias may be life-threatening and require treatment.

The most common symptoms of arrhythmia are:

palpitations or rapid thumping in your chest
feeling tired or light-headed
oosing consciousness
shortness of breath
chest pain.

the same thing happends to me, i feel this about once every month or two....i feel like my hearts beats fast and whats to get out of my cheast for a few seconds, i have never gone to the doctor for this, and i hope its nothing serious, but you should go soon, im planning in going soon too. but i dont have any other symptoms like you with the headache.

If you only have rapid heartbeat symptoms, it's nothing to worry about. However, if you are having shortness of breath, pain, other symptoms at the same time, you should get checked by a doctor. Could still be nothing, though.

seems u got cardiac arrythmia characterized by palpitations and irregular heart beats. This not exactly a disorder but a symptom. see a good cardiologist asap.
