Blackheads and drinking coffee?!
Question: Do you think drinking two or more coffees each day causes me to have blackheads? I've had blackheads for ages and can't seem to get rid of them. Any suggestions?

Since caffeine is a stimulant, it makes sense that they'd stimulate all bodily processes including skin oil or sebum production thereby increasing conditions that contribute to blackheads.
Whether it does or not, the only thing that will really get rid of them is with a prescription like Retin-A. You will be red and flaky for awhile, but it's worth it. Afterwards, the results can be maintained with salicylic or glycolic acid.
If your coffee has caffeine yes it can cause your blackheads, and acne problem worse. here is an old remedy that helps if you wash your face twice daily with a liquid soap like soft soap and add sugar lots of sugar until it becomes gritty and rinse well in cool water you will be able to tell the difference. If this helps and you would still like to see it disappear completely then go to a dermatologist and ask for these medicines Minocin,(pill form) and Differin this is a cream. It done wonders for my teenage son.
