Laryngeal cancer or Vocal fold nodules??!
Question: I have not been able to talk for about a month now....its pretty much freaking me out. I am 25 years old, and I get married in 3 months. I went to the doctor and he is sending me to a ear, nose, and throat doctor for better look. It feels like I have a "bump" or "something stuck", in my throat but I feel healthy as can be, just fatigued more than often. I dont really know much about this stuff, but this question is for people with experience that can give me kind of peace of mind before I go to the doc. Are the symptoms between Laryngeal cancer and Vocal fold nodules identical? Are there any other symptoms besided voice loss and "bump in my throat" that I should be concerned about?? Thank you for your help!!

The only thing I have heard about this type of thing is when you have cancer in your lymph nodes they will be swollen and not hurt. I have not heard about vocal fold nodules. Try to relax worrying will make you feel worse
hey dude
dont worry!if it wud have been cancer,ur doc muss have asked u for tests like biopsy. if hez askin u to c an ent specialist than i think there are chances of some infection... coz of which u facing the problem...
it is always better to go for second opinion...consult some other good doctor if possible.
