I end up really tired from work (8hrs) Is this normal or is it a symptom?!

Question: I am only 25 and I have a full time job. I end up soooo tired when its time to go home. I feel like it isn't normal. I am not pregnant by the way. Could it be a symptom of a condition? 10 pts!

Yes. many things could be contributing to your exhaustion. Maybe its time to see your doctor for some bloodwork and a chat about how you are feeling.
Have them check your thyroid levels, glucose, anemia, adrenals, etc. Get a whole panel done to pinpoint what is happening.
At 25, after work, you should have enough energy to stay alert for a few hrs more.
Are you exercising daily? Sometimes that can keep your engine running later in the day, after work- BUT speaking from experience (10+yrs dealing with thyroid issues) getting out of bed is a chore unto itself.
Take a look at your diet, are you eating lots of carbs? Overloading & craving on carbs is a sign of thyroid and adrenal problems, and can spike your bloodsuger, causing a crash.
All my best

I wouldn't think this is a condition. Work is just tiring. Unless you have other reasons for thinking you're sick, I'd say you're just tired.

It could be low blood sugar. (blood test can identify this by your doc.) try eating 6 small meals full of protein & whole grains to see if that helps. Also, could be epsteinbarr virus. That makes you tired for no reason except the virus is flared.

I carpool with my husband, and I'm always falling asleep on the way home. By the time we get home at night, I've been awake about 12 hours. That's pretty long. I'm sure it's pretty much the same for you. I think you're pretty normal. Work, no matter what you do, can tire you out, whether physically or mentally. As long as you are getting enough of sleep at night and not falling asleep while at work, being sleepy at the end of the work day is normal.

sounds like either you aren't getting enough rest at night, a person needs 7-10 hours, or you are not eating the right foods to keep you going through the day.

Yes you should take more iron. Are you taking vitamins and drinking plenty of water during the day? Your body is asking for something and it's probably that. Get atleast 8 hours of sleep every night and it should get better.
Oh and happy pregnancy to ya!
