Does Eczema really ever go away?!

Question: Can you get rid of it completely or will I have it for life?

Heyyy,
I had eczema when I was younger, I had it for a couple of years, but I used oils in my baths and regulary put E45 on it, also when I went to bed I wore a pair of tights to stop itching and I let it get air as much as possible.
Eventually I grew out of it, but while I had it doing all of these things really helped improve the look and feel of it and I wasn't too bothered about it.
go to the doctor and get some creams and stuff prescribed.
good luck (:

My daughter has eczema. Her doctor said that there is no cure, but you can control it w/creams and use sensitive skin products. For example, non-perfume detergent, body wash, etc.

Dr said that she will grow out of it. However, I know this lady at work that has issues w/her eczema. So I guess it depends on the person.

My daughter hates it and feel insecure. Good luck.

unfortunately not, but if properly treated you can reduce its appearance

it is going to be your friend for life. One thing that has been getting a lot of attention lately is using the inside skin of a banana to rub on the areas a couple times a day. I hear it can be very effective in some cases, & its cheap & safe, ..

It does go away in very many cases. Nobody knows why (nobody knows why it appears either).
Until that time I suggest that you use Champori anti-eczema herbal cream/spray combo for alleviation of symptoms. Works well and if it doesn't - it is free (champori comes with money back guarantee).
Best,
Bernadette

The answer is... maybe. You won't know until you finish growing and maturing which is sometime in your early 20s. It certainly should diminish over time, but for some people it never goes away completely. It is odd how your body changes over time so just try to prevent scarring and prevent infection as best you can.

As a kid, I had severe eczema from my legs to my arms. Now that I am an adult, I only have dry skin on my hands around the knuckle areas. This is a great improvement and is easily controlled with moisturizers. So don't despair - your condition can change dramatically and you will learn to live with it. But like I said, try to prevent scars as much as you can because they will be noticeable when you grow out of it.
