Slight pain in back and chest (near heart area)?!
Question: I have had a slight back pain for a while now, it is not intense, but when I breathe deep I feel it. The doctor said it could be stress/muscle strain (it has been there about 3 months now)
and last night I started feeling a slight pain in my chest, near heart area. I am healthy ,active, non-smoker and 20 years old.
What do you think could be the problem?

Contrary to what you have been told, this could be a heart problem. Often they are signaled by back pain, not just pain in the chest area. There are real life heart attack stories on a link the nurse in my doctor''s office showed me. It would help you to compare what you are feeling not to a "text book" heart attack but to what a real heart attack feels like.
