Sore throat remedies?!
Question: I have a wicked virus that's been going around and the worst part is the sore throat that goes along with it. I have tried a couple things (theraflu, saltwater, and advil) But I was wondering if anyone out there has and tried and true remedies that I could try. I'm dying here so I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

if you're of legal age :)...try an ounce of cognac with lemon and honey. it may not be as potent as sore throat losenges to numb the pain, but it will help get rid of it faster. Drink lots of water and avoid antihystamines..they can make your throat drier and scratchier
Spray the throat with one of those numbing potions you can buy; I recommend the red or cherry flavor, regardless of brand - the green is harsh! Sorry you don't feel well. Take Nyquil so you can sleep.
Gargle with (almost hot) saltwater. Or, try a numbing spray. Find it at a local pharmacy or drug store in their cold remedies isle.
