Answers: What does it come from and how did you treat it..what was it ?

I did...it was brought on by extreme stress...I wasn't eating correctly and ran my immune system down. I was prescribed Nystatin swish and swallow for two weeks and treated the yeast infection as usual.

the thrush is from taking anti-biotics usually
so is the yeast infection probably
are you taking anti-biotics
when I take strong anti-biotics I have had the same problem
the thrush you can get this purple stuff over the counter
ask the pharmacist

I had severe oral thrush and my gums disintegrated over the course of a few days after taking an increased and stronger type of antibiotic. Antibiotics can kill all of the good bacteria in your body and cause an overabundance of yeast. Because my case was so severe, I was prescribed 12 doses of Diflucon. I could not eat or drink for a month without extreme pain. Horrible scenario.

Eat lots of yogurt, you can acidopholus, bifidus, and other live cultures, but if your case is extreme, you probably need to get prescribed something.

Thrush is a yeast infection. It is infection by candidiasis. In both cases you use an anti-fungal agent but the medium is different. You might use a cream or lozenge for the mouth and a different cream for the vagina. You might be prescribed oral medication in either case.
