Acne medication and waxing question HELP please?!
Question: I am fifteen years old, and I have suddenly broke out in acne on my forehead. It's not severe but proactive or any other fash washes don't work. I'm going to the doctors but I heard that when you take acne medication you can't wax or else your skin will rip off. I wax every few weeks, my eyebrows and upperlip, so I can't pluck. If I use YAZ birth control that is proven to treat acne, will I be able to wax?

Actually, I take yaz and use topical medications. As long as I don't put the creams wear I am getting waxed it doesn't rip my skin off. The first time I made a mistake and put it on there.. not a good idea. hahaha. Also, yaz is awesome! It clears you up really nicely too!
yup!!!! YAZ is sick *** stuff...it works so well and i love it you can wax with other stuff but Proactiv makes you skin peel alot so no worries about that issue
Look up accutane in a web search, Yaz will not work as well according to the research I've done, it seems to be the best.
I would try waxing, but do it in a very small area just to see how you react. Don't want to rip your face off. Bob
