Where does the mucus go????!
Question: When you have a stuffy nose and use nasal spray to unstuff your passages where does the mucus go? I mean I just used some becasue I was really stuffed up and could not breathe through my nose at all. Now I can breathe just fine as my nasal passages are now clear. Where did the stuffiness go???

Your nose and throat connect in the back at a place called the nasopharynx. When the mucous loosens up, it drains down and you eventually swallow it. mmmmm....doesn't that sound tasty?

Its in your tummy! I have an iron stomach so it never bothers me but my husband has a very sensitive digestive system and when he gets a head cold his worst complaint is an upset stomach because of all the gunk in there. Yuck, eh?
