Keep your face clean. Always wash your face with luke warm water and use a cleanser -- you have to find out if your face is too oily or something. I go to Lush because they have different kind of facial cleanser that is right for your skin, also, they give you samples first and you can try it out before you buy it.

Well, the main thing is to limit the amount of junk food you eat and drink plenty of water, but if that doesn't help, one of my friends used this:

Depending how bad ur acne is then theres always brands u can buy in stores the best one i can advice which also gets rid of blackheads is: Neutrogena blackhead scrub which u can get from boots. It's just a facewash u use twice a day ive used everything and this has been the best for me. Improved my skin within a week, and that's saying something as ive been to doctors and dermatoligyst and they haven't seemed to help. If it is extremly bad acne then you could always go see ur doctor to go see a skin specialist because sometimes it's ur diet or a hormonal imbalance than can cause acne.

Go to the drug store get something called Benzol Peroxide 10%. Use it everyday, the first few days your skin will look red and the acne worse, but after about 4 days it will clear up and stay clear as long as you use it......my sons doc told us about this 15 years ago, he hasn't had acne since.

well i know some people may say this doesnt work but for me it did. First at night you should wash your face good wipe it with some alchohol or what ever kind of face washing or rinsing stuff u have and then take a nice size bandaid and put it on the spots first put honey on it and then place it on the affected areas dont put too much on it just enough put it on your face at night then wake up in the morning and remove it wipe it with some alchohol and it should have tooken some of the swelling down so that it may look a little vanished keep doing it until it disapears its a great home remidee and it works it reduces the swelling and everything just make sure not to keep putting ur hands in ur face too

I have combination skin and I use.... 'Nutragena oil-free acne wash'. (the doxctor recomended it to my mother-in-law who has TERRIBLE skin) I use it twice a day, in the morning and before bed. When I get a bad breakout from diet or stress I put a dab of 'Clean & Clear PERSA-GEL 5' on my blemishes (don't buy the clear tube, the stuff doesn't work at all...buy the white tube)... works wonders for me!! It makes some people's face's go red because it's very strong so only a tiny dab is needed over the blemish if your sensitive. This stuff is available at Wal-mart and only costs $10 each...the wash lasts over a month or two and the gel lasts FOREVER.
