What is the difference between immunization and vaccination?!

Immunization is the process of achieving immunity. Vaccination is one kind of immunization. Artificial immunization and vaccination are essentially the same thing.
I think one is done with live but weaken virus which causes you immune system to kick in to kill it and the other uses dead virus that still causes the immune system to act up but since the virus is already dead the antibodies are made but not used so you are safe if exposed. Either way the serum used is called a vaccine so maybe they are the same thing,and the words are interchangeable
