How does it take for a hickey to go away????!
Question: Initially if you don't do anything to it, it can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to go away. But then again, it all depends on how dark it is. I've found a few different things to help reduce in it's darkness, and perhaps even make it go away. It helps a lot to put ice on it when you first get it. You can also take a chap stick cap, and push it down, and twist, it will kind of hurt, and it will turn a bright red after you do it for a while, but once the redness goes away, you'll see that the hickey has too, gone away, or has gotten a lot lighter. And unfortunately you can't just do this for five minutes, you have to sit there and do it for a while. You can also take a comb or a brush and run it over the hickey, that helps a little bit. The chap stick cap trick is the best one I think. It's worked for me each time. Good luck!

toothpaste usually works.
You could put some makeup on it until the hickey subsides.
toothpaste works well - other than that just wait it out!
