What are good things to eat when you have allergies and sinus trouble?!
Question: I already know about yogurt and accidophillus.
Answers: I already know about yogurt and accidophillus.
Foods that hydrate and/or are spicy can do wonders at temporarily allowing sinuses to drain, relieving pressure for a while. Drink lots of clear liquids, hot or cold, then go for the hot spices.
Every Chinese restaurant has hot and sour soup. The won ton soup may help, but not as much. Try hot Indian, Mexican, or other cuisine, if you're up for it.
I don't know a thing about allergies, but yogurt and acidopholus (sp?) won't help sinus problems at all. A neti pot, washed with detergent after every use, and used according to instructions, can help if the affected sinuses are the ones flanking the nose. It won't help on the others.
Sinus usually results in dehydration. So have loads and loads of fluids.
