" Syphilis Question " What are Your 1st Thoughts On This?!
Question: Been seprarated now for 2 mths. MY husband is living w/ his mom. 1 month after not being home. He went to the Doc to check his blood presure. HE told me he was tired, weak all the time. HE never once told me all the test, that he has done. He calls me one afternoon. Telling me THAT HE IS SO SHOKED OF THE BLOOD TEST RESULTS! HE SAID ON THIS CALL THAT HIS DOC TOLD HIM IT'S A BLOOD DISEASE!!! I asked him over and over again " what blood disease?" Doc said its only through intercourse that cause tis disease!!! ONCE AGAIN MY HUSBAND DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT WAS THE NAME OF IT. So we hung up. I thought about it very upset and concern, since his doc wanted me to check if I had it as well. I FINALLY CALLED BACK MY HUSBAND AND ASKED HIM AGAIN WHAT IS IT? Then he claimed THAT HE ALREADY TOLD ME BUT COULDN'T PRONOUCE THE NAME. WHEN HE SAID IT IT SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS TRYING NOT TO KNOW HOW TO PRONOUCE IT. ANyways this disease the doc said HE COULD OF GOTTEN it 1 mth ago to 5 to 18 yrs ago.

So - have you confirmed it is syphilis?
You need to be tested and treated asap.
The thing about syphilis is you can be infected for decades before symptoms start to appear. The initial symptom is a chancre - a painless sore on the genitals - in a lot of people, it is not noticed and then it goes away. A symptoms of secondary syphilis is a rash on the hands - again a rash on the hands can be a million things and it again tends to go away pretty quickly. And then nothing.......
Syphilis is called the great imitator because all the symptoms that go along with it can be the symptoms of a thousand other problems and it is hard to diagnose.
So it may be that he has had it for years or it may be that he cheated. Only you are going to be able to decide whether you trust him or not.
