It could be something like holding onto a phone too tight for too long or anything. Unless you have pain that runs down your thumb and down to your wrist, it wouldn't be Carpal Tunnel. If it happens often, then I would be checked out by your doctor to rule out carpal tunnel. It is most likely nothing to worry about but it may be a circulation problem. Are your hands usually cold? If so then not enough blood is getting in your extremities to keep them warm.

it could be carpo tunnel...get it checked out by a hand dr

i agree with the other girl. it could be carpel tunnel or however you spell it or your hand could just be falling asleep. get it checked out if you think its a problem or ask someone you know if they know what it could be. hope that helps. =D

probably an inpingement(pinching) of a nerve at either the neck , shoulder, elbow or wrist. Nothing to worry about unless it becomes more bothersome, painful or is associated with weakness of the wrist , hands or fingers. Try taking an over the counter anti imflammatory med such as ibuprofen. See a doctor if it persists or get worse.

lack of oxygen and blood flow making it to the hand. in other words poor circulation.

Not trying to scare you sweetie, keep on check on things like that concerning your body. I started out having simple things like that with my hand or my foot and it started getting worse over time. A MRI was done and Multiple Sclerosis was found. They said I have had MS for at least four years before the diagnoses. I do agree with the others though. Also you may need to have your circulation checked. Good Luck.

Do you notice it when you're on the computer often? does it have a tendency to feel tingly later in the day or at night? It could be carpal tunnel. My hand gets tingly too...Mostly my right because I used it most often. It started to spread up my arm (it doesnt feel this way all of the time, just now and then.) I talked to my doctor and they said it may be the start of carpal tunnel.

Check out the link below with some info about it....If you think this may be whats going on, contact your doctor and they'll help you out before your symptoms get much worse.
