Is it normal to be out of breath having bronchitis?!

Question: Yes. It is perfectly normal to be out of breath, when having bronchitis. Bronchitis is a disease of the lung and it is where the bronchial tubes are irritated. It results in too much mucus being produced. Bronchitis is caused by smoking and if it continues, it can become Chronicc Bronchitis. In Chroni Bronchitis, the cilia are damaged and their ability to move mucus , bacteria and dirt particles is impaired. Thanks for asking this question cause it helped prepare for my test on the respiratory system.BTW ima 7th grader.

Yeppers. When the doctor diagnosed you with bronchitis, they should have prescribed an inhaler for you as well.

When you have bronchitis, the airways leading to your lungs get inflamed. This will couse you to feel short of breath. If you are having trouble breathing, you can call your doctor and have them prescribe an inhaler that will open the airways.

Not at all. I would see a physician.

Yes has your lungs are congested and blocked they are trying to grasp fresh air. i suffer from this quite a lot when my hubbys brother comes down and smokes heavily all over me,but since i have been told by my family doctor that he has to stop smoking in my home or suffer the consequences and smoke outside or hold on until he leaves to go back to his own home. i dont get much bronchitis now.

yes. bronchitis, a condition that occurs when the inner walls that line the main air passageways of your lungs become infected and inflamed. Bronchitis often follows a respiratory infection such as a cold. Smoking and exposure to smoke are also risk factors for bronchitis.

Most cases of acute bronchitis disappear within a few days without lasting effects, although coughs may linger for weeks. If you have repeated bouts of bronchitis, see your doctor.
