I'm worried about my love...?!
Question: He smokes wayyyy too many cigerettes...2 packs a day...and I'm afraid he's gonna get lung cancer...what are his chances of dying? He dosen't plan on stopping..and he's been smokeing for 7 years.
If he does get cancer, how long from now would that be?
How can I make him stop? He refuses! I'm so scared!
If he were to die...I would lose it!

It takes at least about 20 years for cancer to develop from exposure. So you probably don't have to worry for the short term. It's better for him if he quit the smoking. Have you ever thought of discussing with a doctor?

its pointless dating him say its the cigs or you because honestly i dont know how anybody can kiss an ashtray pretty much have to show that you want him to stop because if you dont end it now it well end in a matter of years with him in the hospital.
You can't make himstop,he has to want to stop!Not everyone that smokes gets cancer,you can get cancer many different ways.I'm not saying it's the smart thing to do,I do not

yeah for sure he'll get lung cancer, and probably you too as a second hand smoker.you haven't say how old is your love one, but if he wont stop sooner then his life expectancy will be shorter.....people who smoke wont quite unless they want to, sometimes it's the person who's around them suffer much, the smell of cigarette, and the probability that you may have some lung ailment too......
threaten him that if he dont stop, you'll leave...then you'll see wat he loves more: cigs or you....
