For Lady's who are under the age of 18 who have sex........unprotected?!

Most teens [and many, many adults too] think that contracting STDs/STIs won't happen to them. They also tend to judge by appearances ["he/she looks clean, so he/she can't possibly be infected"]. How wrong! Right now, I'm an OB/GYN Nurse; by my appearance, you'd NEVER think that 8 years ago I was a homeless heroin addict and prostitute...or that I'm infected with Hepatitis C...and with the strains of HPV that give genital warts and also the ones that cause cervical cancer. You might think I'm HIV positive, but I'm not, though I shared contaminated needles with many people that are now dead from AIDS. I've been tested for HIV over 20 times, at different clinics, laboratories, etc...the results are always NEGATIVE.
well, "ladies" AND "gentlemen" under the age of 18 tend to think of themselves as immortal, that such things happen to "other" people, and will not of course happen to them. In other words, they are young and foolish, and in this day and age, that could be a death sentence.
kids now days dont think. they dont really realize the risks involved.

It's the "It won't happen to me" syndrome.
when i was under 18 and had sex we always used a condom--but it broke once. then there was also a rape.
kids aren't as stupid as we think they are. for the most part they try and protect themselves, but sometimes things happen.
i'm 17 and even when i have sex protected i get paranoid that i would get pregnant, std, or even hiv all the time. so i get tested like least one time a 3 months.
OH NO, NOT AIDS, HPV, OR ANY OF THOSE OTHER STDS OUT THERE THAT ONLY AFFECT PEOPLE UNDER 18!!!...... news flash idiot, people young and old of every race, shape, and size are all equally likely to develop an std. being "under 18" means nothing.
