What can i do for a sinus infection?!
Question: i've tried robbatussm, nightquil and dayquil, alcaselser, hot baths, and some generic pills don't know what they are called. Is there anything else i can try? maybe some over the counter medicine made just for a sinus infection? Also how can i help soothe my sore throught?

Have you ever heard of a netti pot? it will sound kind of gross, but it really works. it is like a small tea pot and you fill it with warm salt water tilt your head to one side or the other and pour the water into one of your nostrils. it will come out of the other nostril. do it 2 times a day for about 2 or 3 days and you should be good to go. the sore throat will also get better if you gargle with warm salt water. The salt in the water helps your mucus membranes heal faster and that is what you need. hope you feel better.
I also suggest a netti pot. You can probably get one at your local drugstore or like a Walmart. I thought it was gross at first too, but after fighting a bad cold for 2 weeks and taking all kinds of over the counter cold meds with no results, it was worth the try. My cold was gone after 2 days. They are under $15 and you have probably wasted that much on meds already. It may take a little practice, just follow the instruction . Netti pots have been used for years in other countries and is as common as brushing your teeth. I think with regular use, we would not need to use so much antibiotics, cold med or Dr. visits. Why aren't Dr.s suggesting this treatment for sinus problems ?
