Question: okay so in early july i had sex, once only, without a condom! my first and only time.. and maybe the biggest mistake of my life. this past month or 2 i get these outbreaks of red itching bumps on my private area. they get worse after i shave and itch mostly only then, but they seem to stay all the time they just dont itch and they go down a lot.. also last month 10 days after my period i had brown discharge for a few days, this had only happened 2 times. i asked the guy and he says that he goes to the doctor often and gets checked for STD's and he said he doesnt have one.. do you think i do? what should i do?

go to a clinic and get checked out....it could be several things, so don't panic yet...but for the information, guys don't always have symptoms and still can pass it to the girls...
ask him does it burn when he pees..if yes, then maybe something!
go some web sites and research info on std..

You shouldn't worry about it, because worrying never solved anything.
The only way to be certain you don't have anything is to go to the hospital.
But the red bumps can be ingrown hairs and the brown discharge can be a simple yeast infection.
