Is it true that a wasp sting can cure arthritis?!

Question: I'm not sure, you should probably consult your doctor to find out the best way of curing it because they know best, but on this site someone explains that she was cured with a number of wasp stings or something like that, but I'm not sure. :P

I wouldn't go out of my way to find out...lol.

I can't remember the name of it, but that thing where the put needles in your pressure points sometimes helps.

If you're suffering from arthritis, you should go to your doctor who can find the best way to stop the pain.

This sounds like an old wives tale. How a sting can penetrate deep tissue/swolln joints i dont know!?

Most tales have some truth in them.. so it probably comes from someone who was stung on the hand & the swelling & natural pain relievers the body releases may have taken away the pain from the hand too, hence giving the illusion that it cures the arthritis

    no

As an arthritis suffer I can answer a firm 'NO'!
As far as i know there is no cure, just ways of easing the pain.
Acupuncture can help some people; I have injections in my spine and hips. I also have a TENS machine which helps me to stand a bit longer.
Was stung by a wasp 2 years ago and still hobbling around!

Not wasp sting. In the old days it was believed that bee sting could help against arthritis. But I wouldn't try it if I were you. You might develop a violent allergic reaction.

There is a product called G5 which can be ordered from Ireland (liquid to drink and gel to apply on the skin). It is said to give enormous relief.

You can (should) also eliminate from your diet all foods which are acidifying for the blood. You find on the internet tables of alkalinizing and acidifying foods. You'd be surprised how much we eat which makes the blood acid and aggravates arthritis for example, and many other conditions.

Here is some very useful info and a table you can use to choose the best food for your condition:
