Urge to urinate :-(?!
Question: I have a weird symptom thats driving me crazy. i feel like i need to urinate but i dont. I have that feeling of when u really need to pee and something pushes agaisnt ur stomach. But no matter how long i sit on the toilet i cant go. This only began this morning and i am very uncomfortable. i have a doctors appointment for wednesday morning but im lying in bed being driven crazy. Anyone know what this could be or anything i could do to ease it while i wait to see the doctor?

That sounds like a bladder or urinary tract infection. You need to be on antibiotics as quickly as possible. It can get worse pretty quick.
Call the doctor and tell them what's going on. They might want to see you sooner or call in a prescription for you.
Meantime, take over-the-counter pain relief and drink lots of cranberry juice.

its either a bladder or a urinary tract infection, drink loads and loads of water, it can help flush it out of ur system... doc will give u antibiotics
It might be a UTI (urinary tract infection) but I really don't know, it just kinda sounds like one.
Drink plenty of water and try to get what ever feeling you have to urinate out of your system. Its mind over matter really and you really don't need to pee. If you have pain in your stomach you should take pain killers.
Sounds like a UTI and you can't wait until wednesday to begin treatment.

It could be an infection. Ring your GP and try and get an earlier appointment, in the meantime drink lots of water to try and flush out your system.
Don't wait until wednesday or you will end up with a kidney infection as well.
I get symptoms like you describe and I go to the chemist or supermarket and get Cysitopurin or similar for cystitis.
Also drink a glass of Cranberry juice every half an hour.
my mam suffered a simaler problem,obviously i am not a doctor,but she was diagnosed with diabetes,so i hope you are well soon,and that your tests prove OK,and that all you have suffered is a mild bladder or water infection,try and clear your mind as you are psychologically blocking your need to go,and run the tap,as the sound of running water will help you in urinating,i wish you well.
Sounds like a UTI. Which cranberry juice can help alot until you get to the Dr. However the best thing on the market for the treatment of sypmtoms is an over the counter medicine called AZO. The 1st dose and the sypmtoms are usually gone! But you still need an antibiotic. If in fact that is what is ailing you. I will tell you though just in case you are sexually active, that some STD'S. cause the exact same sypmtoms as a UTI. So make sure that you follow up with your Dr. Weds. And good luck. Sounds like cystitis, i had this and its not very nice! You can buy some sachets like cymalon or oasis sachets at your local chemist and you should feel relief within a couple of hours. Also drink plenty and really try to go to the toilet every half hour to flush it out. It should clear up on its own but if you still have the symptoms or they get worse and you have blood in your urine or bad back ache go to the docs as it will turn into a kidney infection which is even worse. Sounds like cystitis. Go get yourself a bottle of Uva-ursi from a health shop. Not sure about chemist. It worked miracles for me when I had that problem. It can be absolutely crippling if you let it get worse. My doctor gave me antibiotics and that did the trick for a short while but it came back and Uva-ursi worked like a dream. I wish I had known before I had the wretched antibiotics.
The relief is instant if you can believe that I dropped a few drops directly onto my tongue in the shop and could feel that horrid feeling going immediately.
