I'm writing a story about a girl who died from any type of human virus. In my story so far I have that she went to my school. So that means that the virus can't be bad enough so that they will let her into the school but bad enough to kill her.
It has to be a human virus that you wouldn't be able to tell if the person has it..say like aids..i don't think you can tell that the person has aids just by looking at them.
I had cancer in mind so far, but i'm not sure cause I am going to put in my story that she dies young, and i'm not sure if cancer patients are allowed into public schools, and how long do you have to have cancer before losing your hair anyways?
my story has to make sense. It be great if you could list a couple that would go good with my story, Thanks guys!

Cancer is not a virus. (nor is it contagious, so yes, they would let a person with cancer into school. They would even let a person with HIV into school, because its not contagious unless you do high risk activities such as unprotected sex, sharing drug needles).
Regardless, its not likely that a person that dies from a virus will be going to school up until the point of death, the person will eventually get sick before dying and probably won't be in school.
Even if it's cancer, the person will get too sick to be in school before they die.
I can't think of one.
well you can still make her have canser just she hasnt had kemotheripy so she wont lose her hair. make it that she doesn't know untill to late.
maybe she could have a tumor there hard to tell if you have one untill its to late.
I think make it more dramatically by specifying it as LEUKAEMIA. I suggest that losing her hair and covering it up with a wig and pretending as if she has a real hair that everybody didn't notice and in the end suddenly in a dramatic way they will all discover that she is sick and dying and of course wearing a wig.
