Document your symptoms. Information will prove vital in your diagnosis, whatever it turns out to be.

See your physician and ask for a referral to a Neurologist. While you are waiting (most Neuro's have a wait of about 2 months) start a journal of your symptoms. Not a major writing project, just jot down what the tics are and how many times a day. Also, video tape yourself (or ask someone to help) when the tics are very obvious. This will help greatly just in case the tics are not present at the prescribed time and day of the appointment.

Bring your notes, your video camera (to show the tape) with you to the appointment. Information is imperative.

Best wishes for a good outcome.

Whatever is causing it will not be helped by waiting. You need to be evaluated by a physician.

It could be tourrettes, however tourrettes syndrome and related illnesses are usually diagnosed with a large number of symptoms. Just random shivers, what could be a "tic", which are often a symptom of tourrettes, would be accompanied with other symptoms. However i think it could be a range of other things, like maybe your body is fatigued or something. Also tourrettes usually shows up at a young age, so if this is your first symptom it would be unlikely you have tourrettes. I would say call your doctor :)
