Pain remedy after acid vomit?!
Question: I have acid reflux and it usually doesn't bother me so much.
I just tried to lay down and a whole lot of acid came running up, burning my mouth, throat, and chest so bad that I'm crying trying to stop it.
What can I do to remedy the initial burn?
I've tried water before, antacids, teas, but it's so nasty and it hurts so bad.

i usually suck on some pieces of rock salt; i don't know why but it always makes me feel better!
water works on me, too, though.. hmmm... sometimes, i eat soda crackers and water; it works, too.
2 teaspoons of baking soda swirled around in a glass of water. down it real quick and it works like a charm
my mother has acid reflux. she says juice from a can of peaches soothes her throat & chest.
