a swollen lymph node perhaps..these grow if there is any kind of infection from the neck up

Possibly a bump, from an allergic reaction, but definitely go to a doctor.

maybe a tumour. sounds like a pretty big lump to me. get it checked out! it could just be a fatty deposit though or something less worrying, but nevertheless go to the doctor!
