POISON IVY! Please help!?!

Question: So I got poison Ivy last Saturday, but it didn't apear until tuesday. I have been using prescribed cream since then, and it doesn't seem to be helping.

today I tried drying it our with alcohol, applying more cream, washing with dawn soap, showering five hours later with dawn soap, applying more lotion, and I just now applied a mixture of oatmeal and water to it and put on pants to sleep in so I can wash it off in six hours.

IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE DO.
I cannot go back to the doctor, he already gave me the cream that didn't work.
Thanks in advance!

Arbonne baby rash ointment

If you know you have been exposed, wash with doctor Bronner's Peppermint soap. The peppermint oil washes off the poison oak oil. Once you have a rash, use the Arbonne baby rash ointment. I found the link to the product. It looks like the ointment has changed, but I am sure it works just as well. Once you go to the site, they can help you find someone local who might have the product on hand so you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail. I also gave you the link to the soap. Use the liquid, I can't vouch for the bar soap. You can buy it at most health food stores or grocery stores with a natural food section. You can see it online though, so you know what you are looking for. I love my peppermint soap! I hope you get that cleared up quickly, I know how miserable it is.

put it under scalding hot water until it doesn't itch anymore.

Best to talk with the pharmacist
See what he/she suggests
they do know better than the doctors IMO

Hydrocortison Cream 1%

It's over the counter. It relieves the itching.
