Well we are unclear on LSD. We do know that it can cause some long term problems in some people. We are not clear if this is "damage" in the strict sense of the term. It may be more of a temporary to permanant neurochemical affair. More of a functional problem than structural. The syndrome consists of the patient seeing afterimages and trails, having colour distortions and micro and macroscopia. It is called HPPD you can look it up. I had it for 2 years. But LSD does not cause brain damage as far as we can tell. Brain cells are not killed we are pretty sure. Just augmented in some way. It usually resolves sooner or later.

I personally haven't used drugs but i believe that acid use can damage chemicals in your brain which could lead to chemical imbalances which can be linked to depression, paranoia,things like that that. so i think acid uses could be a brain damaging drug.
I get the munchies all the time.
